Ridge Road Recreational Park features multiple ball fields, courts for tennis and volleyball, an in-line hockey rink, as well as picnic shelters and a playground on 56 acres of land. Bring your furry friends because there’s also an enclosed area for dogs to play in.
Visitors must adhere to the following recommendations at this park:
Use a basketball court, tennis court and sand volleyball court on a first-come, first-served basis at Ridge Road Recreational Park.
Ridge Road Recreational Park features one soccer/football field with lights and one soccer/football field without lights. All fields for baseball and softball contain lights. All fields at this park are permitted for games only. Contact Park Permits for applications and guidelines for use.
The half-acre, fenced dog park provides a place for county residents and their dogs to play. Please see the Montgomery Parks Dog Parks web page for complete information and rules for patrons.
The fully accessible, in-line hockey rink can be reserved for games through Park Permits beginning Saturday, October 10, 2020, or may be used on a first-come, first-served basis if not reserved.
In-line hockey rink may be permitted from April 1 until October 31. Hours: 9:00 am until Sunset.
The Washington Capitals provided materials and installation within the rink and a new scoreboard in 2019.
In-Line Rink Rental Fees:
• Montgomery County Resident (two hour minimum) ………$10/hour
• Non-Resident (two hour minimum) ………$12/hour

Note: Picnic Shelters at Ridge Road Recreational Park are not currently permitted due to COVID-19.
Historically, visitors were able to rent three picnic shelters through Park Permits from April 1 through October 31. Please see Recreational/Regional Picnic Shelters for details and guidelines for use.
A playground sits between Shelters A and B and a permanent restroom. Restrooms are also available at the in-line hockey rink and at the picnic shelters from April through October. A network of hard and natural surface trails can accommodate hikers and bikers.
